1. WHO IS THE CONTROLLER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

The controller of your personal data is Kancelaria DLP LEGAL DMOWSKI I WSPÓLNICY SPÓŁKA KOMANDYTOWO – AKCYJNA (hereinafter referred to as the “Law Firm“), with its registered office at ul. Chłodna 22A lok. 9/10, 00-891 Warsaw, KRS: 0001078617.

2. WHO CAN YOU CONTACT REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

As part of implementing personal data protection at our law firm, we have decided not to appoint a Data Protection Officer, as this is not mandatory in our case. For matters related to data protection and privacy in general, please contact us at: biuro@dlplegal.pl

3. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE HOLD ABOUT YOU?

Depending on the purpose, we may process the following information about you:

  • first and last name,
  • residential address,
  • business activity address,
  • tax identification number (NIP),
  • e-mail address,
  • phone number,
  • data contained in correspondence sent to us,
  • bank account number,
  • age;
  • gender.

4. WHERE DO WE OBTAIN YOUR PERSONAL DATA FROM?

From agreements concluded with the Law Firm for legal services (hereinafter referred to as the “Legal Services Agreement”).

5. IS YOUR DATA SAFE?

We care about the security of your personal data. We have analyzed the risks associated with the individual processes of processing your data, and subsequently implemented appropriate security and data protection measures. We continuously monitor the state of our technical infrastructure, train our staff, review the procedures in place, and introduce necessary improvements.

6. FOR WHAT PURPOSES DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

To the extent necessary to perform the Legal Services Agreement and to fulfill the legal obligations imposed on the Law Firm, personal data is processed pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) and (c) of the GDPR. To the extent related to the pursuit of claims and defense against them, the processing of your personal data is based on the legitimate interests of the Law Firm and takes place pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

7. HOW LONG WILL WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Personal data will be stored for the duration of the Legal Services Agreement, and after that period, until the expiration of the statute of limitations for claims arising from the concluded Legal Services Agreement. Furthermore, regardless of the period indicated in the preceding sentence, personal data recorded in accounting documentation will be stored for the period specified in applicable law, including tax regulations.

8. WHO ARE THE RECIPIENTS OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

The Law Firm is entitled to disclose your personal data to third parties for the purpose of properly performing the Legal Services Agreement. The Law Firm may entrust the processing of your data to entities providing IT, accounting, postal, and courier services to the Law Firm. Furthermore, the Law Firm is obliged to disclose your personal data pursuant to mandatory provisions of law, at the request of authorized courts, authorities and institutions.

9. DO WE TRANSFER YOUR DATA TO THIRD COUNTRIES OR INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS?

Personal data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), which comprises the member states of the European Union, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein.

10. DO WE USE PROFILING? DO WE MAKE AUTOMATED DECISIONS BASED ON YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We do not make decisions concerning you based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that would produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you.

11. WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Subject to the restrictions arising from the GDPR and other legal provisions, you have the right to access the content of your personal data, as well as the right to rectify, erase, and restrict its processing, the right to data portability, and the right to object, provided that raising an objection does not deprive the Company of the right to continue processing the data covered by the objection if this is justified by the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, or by important legitimate grounds for processing which override your interests or rights.
